2 Weeks

The puppies have all opened their eyes and are starting to walk on all fours now! We watched them playing with each other for the first time last night and they were cracking us up! We are starting to see their individual personalities and which ones are the leaders of the pack. We already have a couple escape artists on our hands who have figured out how to get out of the kiddie pool.. time to get a new setup for them this week! We finally decided on some temporary names for them until they go to their forever homes:

Walter
Walter is the first born puppy and gets his name from Walter White (Breaking Bad anyone?) because he is the lightest in color and looks white compared to his siblings. He was the heaviest weight at birth and continues to be one of the biggest pups but usually trades off with one of his brothers from day to day.

Teddy
Teddy was named after his doggy grandpa because his coloring reminds us of our Maggie as a puppy and he loves when I hold him so he is like my little teddy bear! I found him out of the kiddie pool at 1:30 AM a couple days ago so he's one of the puppies that wants to explore his surroundings already! His cute little face is one of my personal favorites and he has a white chest like his momma, Maggie.

Coco
For lack of originality- our only chocolate colored puppy is Coco! She is so sweet and we can already see her curly fur starting to show through so she may end up curlier than some of her siblings. She is the biggest in weight of the girls and was the first puppy to escape the kiddie pool! She is one of the instigators to get all the other puppies to start playing.

Lola
We named Lola after her doggy grandma. She is one of the 3 apricot colored puppies but she definitely is the lighter blonde of the 3 when next to each other. She is another puppy that is already starting to show her curls in her ears and has the cutest multicolored nose!

Rosie
Rosie is the runt of the litter but is keeping up with her sister, Lola. She reminds us of our Maggie girl in a lot of ways from her mellow personality to her apricot coloring and she even has a little white on her chest too! She is a little sweetheart and hardly makes a peep!

Scar
Scar was the first named puppy after one of our friend's son's named him after the villain on the Lion King and it stuck! Scar was the last born and the only black pup. He looks just like his daddy, Echo! He is another that already is showing his curly fur. He competes daily with his brother Walter on who is the biggest puppy and can often be seen trying to get his siblings to play with him. Scar is another one of the puppies who has figured out how to escape and explore.
